Install guide

1:Make Sure your are on rooted stock rom with custom recovery instaled.
2:Backup up your all data(contact, sms, etc).
3:Wipe all data and factory setting.
4:Then Processed to rom installation part.

1:Head over to Stable Recovery from boot menu
2:Wipe Data (Nandroid Backup Before Doing this [optional])
3:Install Zip from SD
4:Select ur Jelly Bean rom (DefyPlus) zip
5:FLash
6:7:Flash JB Gapps zip
7:Clear Cache and Dalvik Cache

How To Flash Jelly Bean (Defy Builds)

1:Head Over To Stable recovery
2:Wipe Data
3:Install ZIp from SD Card
4:Select Jelly Bean rom (Defy) .zip
5:Flash
6:Flash JB Gapps zip
7:Clear Cache and Dalvik Cache

First Boot will take some time...

How to install:
These steps are for bootloader locked users, bootloader unlocked users can also follow.
You can skip step 1 and step 2 if you already on a rooted 64 baseband firmware.
But I recommended you do this cuz it will give you a larger userdata partition.

1.Flash firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 Enhanced via Flashtool.

2.Root the firmware you installed just now, you can use zergrush method or via Flashtool.

3.Install CWM.

4.Enter recovery and install xperia s ui 1.2_ By TheMessSolution from sdcard.

How to : Upgrade Motorola Xoom 3G (MZ601) to ICS 4.0.3

Goto platform-tools in android -sdk folder
put recovery file in platform- tools folder
put Codename-Android-(MOD)-1.5.5-XOOM(GSM).zip and

xoom-gapps-ics-20120317.zip in Extranal memory(SD card)

Step 3
Open cmd by pressing shift + right click, select "open

command window here" in platform-tools folder.

Type
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

To Enter the fastfoot mode press voldown key 3 sec

pressing power on button then vol down key to change th

mode till fastboot appear the vol up to select the mode.

Once you have verification on your device that this has

been flashed, reboot your device by holding volume up +

power.
Then 3 seconds after you see the "Motorola logo", hit

volume down.
You should now see "Android Recovery" in the top left

corner. Hit volume up to boot into recovery.
In "Android Recovery", go into "install zip from sdcard"

"Choose zip from sdcard", then select the Codename-

Android-(MOD)-1.5.5-XOOM(GSM).zip file you put in the

SDcard and then xoom-gapps-ics-20120317.zip
then wipe/factory setting.
reboot.


Note: Use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select
FIrst Boot will take some time...

How To : Root Motorola Xoom




Step 1
1.Install Android SDK

2.download root files
Xoom Root :- http://adf.ly/6zEuy

3.Turn on usb debugging

Step 2
Extract Files
1.recovery.img
2.xoom-universalroot.zip

Goto platform-tools in android -sdk folder
put recovery file in platform- tools folder
put xoom-universalroot.zip in Extranal memory(SD card)

Step 3
Open cmd by pressing shift + right click, select "open command window here" in platform-tools folder.

Type
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Once you have verification on your device that this has been flashed, reboot your device by holding volume up + power.
Then 3 seconds after you see the "Motorola logo", hit volume down.
You should now see "Android Recovery" in the top left corner. Hit volume up to boot into recovery.
In "Android Recovery", go into "install zip from sdcard" "Choose zip from sdcard", then select the Xoom-Universal-Root.zip file you put in the SDcard
then wipe/factory setting.
reboot.
