How To: Install Official Sony Xperia ICS Beta (4.0.3)



[Requirements ] stock .62 firmware (use FTF) [WILL WORK ONLY WITH -64 BASEBAND] Unlocked Bootloader

[ Installation ] 1) Root and install CWM 2) Download ROM + Kernel
ROM :- mirror2.streakdroid.com/icxdev/Rom/Sony-Beta1-PLAY-r1.zip
KERNELS:
normal kernel :- mirror2.streakdroid.com/icxdev/Kernel/boot-DooMLoRD-SONY-Performance.img
Overclocked kernel upto 1.6GHz :- mirror2.streakdroid.com/icxdev/Kernel/boot.img
Place the rom on your sd-card and kernel to your android-sdk\platform-tools folder 3) Flash the kernel
"fastboot flash boot boot-DooMLoRD-SONY-Performance.img" for normal kernel
"fastboot flash boot boot.img" for overclocked kernel 4) Reboot phone (fastboot reboot) 5) Press back button when bootscreen displays and LED turns blue 6) Flash rom (Install zip from sdcard) 7) Reboot 8) Initial boot may take a while 9) ENJOY!!!

Currently known issues are as follows: Some graphics issues (disable animations and enable force 2d rendering in developer options to fix it) Bluetooth Touchpad Face Unlock Video recording
